The London Quartet come to the festival for the first time with their trademark mix of comedy, charm, and vocal brilliance: from pop to the classics, folk to jazz, and musical to movie. Great singing – Great songs – Great fun… from a Great British vocal group. They will be accompanied by Chris Hatt, Musical Director of Hamilton The Musical, in an evening which presents the idea of People, Stories and Histories in song, with the quartet’s signature blend of virtuoso singing and side-splitting humour.

A wonderful afternoon on the balconies and streets of Vienna to introduce the month-long a cappella Festival VOICE MANIA.
We are joined by other groups including our Swedish friends Ringmasters.
We will be singing a special song to celebrate the special birthday of a special person and their guests aboard Ponant’s, Le Lyrial cruise ship.

The Quartet will be accompanied at the piano by Chris Hatt, Associate Musical Director of Hamilton, in an evening which embraces the Sublime and the Ridiculous. There will be Songs of Cricket and Songs of Love and War, in a wide-ranging programme which includes music from some of the great vocal groups, amongst which the Hi-Lo’s and the Four Freshmen from 1950s America and the great inter-war German group, the Comedian Harmonists. All presented with The London Quartet’s signature blend of virtuoso singing and side-splitting humour.
Cantabile, also known as The London Quartet, have been delighting audiences since 1982 with their amazing range of programmes. From a cappella favourites to the sacred music of the last millennium they are outstanding in both Comedy and the Classics.
